Mary K. Stieman, 66, of Harrison City, formerly of Monroeville, died on Friday, June 17, 2016. She was born on January 10, 1950 in McKeesport, to the late Albert and Edna (Snyder) Boss. Mary was a 1971 graduate of Slippery Rock University and a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church. Mary loved to bake and her cookies were loved by all. She was always family oriented and enjoyed her grandchildren, family, and friends. She will be missed by her beloved husband, Paul; loving daughter, Beth and husband David M. Biroscak of Manor; cherished grandchildren, Emily and Eric Biroscak; and Goddaughter, Amy E. Haver of N. Huntingdon. She is also survived by a brother, John; a nephew; and many close cousins, friends, and neighbors. Friends will be received Sunday, June 19, 2016, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 20, 2016, at 10:30 AM at St. Barbara Catholic Church, 111 Raymaley Rd., Harrison City. Interment will follow in the St. Barbara Cemetery, Claridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Mary's memory to the Bailey Library Special Education Collection at Slippery Rock University.
