Edward Allen McKeesport Edward "Jello" Allen, 64, of McKeesport, departed this life Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at West Penn Hospital (Hospice). Born Oct. 11, 1947, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Robert Allen Sr. and Sarah Lee Gunn Allen. He was employed as a counselor at the YMCA in Hazelwood. He is survived by brothers, Robert (Carolyn) Allen Jr., of Charlotte, N.C., and Charles Allen, of McKeesport; sisters, Barbara Green, of McKeesport, Clara Howard, of Leesburg, Fla., Sarah (Ernest) Meadows, of McKeesport, and Rosalie Allen, of Leesburg, Fla.; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at the McKeesport Towers. All friends are welcome to attend.
