Lorraine Alexander, 73, of Fort Lauderdale, formerly of McKeesport, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021. She was born December 28, 1947 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Peter Coltogirone and the late Ruby Mae Walker. She was the wife to the late Tim Alexander, who passed away April, 8, 2018. Lorraine had a hard shell, but had the biggest heart and was there for anyone at anytime! She was a loving wife and caretaker, who had the mindset to put everyone else's needs ahead of her own, which made her an amazing mother, sister and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Michael (Kelly) Lawson, of Rostraver Twp, daughter, Tina Myers, of White Oak, sisters, Cathy Tate, and Madeline Pipp, brothers, Anthony, Pete, and Don Coltogirone, sisters-in-law, Sheila Demshar and Beverly Ryan, granddaughters, Hayven Myers, Kelsy (Jason) Miller, and Kaydin Lawson, grandsons, Cody and Colton Lawson, great-grandson, Kai Miller, many cousins, and nieces and nephews. Lorraine was preceded in death by her brother-in law, Jim Tate. There is no visitation. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, director. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be made at Gilbertfuneralhomeandcrematory.com

I've known Lorraine and many of her family  for so many years.  She was the kindest person with a big heart.  Was glad to see her  again and enjoying herself with us old classmates  at the 70th BD Bash in 2019.  Rest in Peace.
