Gaylinn K. Rawls, 74, of St. Peters, died Friday, March 15, 2024, at Clarendale, of St. Peters, MO. She was born August 13, 1949, in McKeesport, PA, to the late Dr. Alfred Jerome (AJ) Silberman and the late Florence Lowenthal Silberman.

Ms. Rawls is survived by her life partner of 35 years, Constance Lee Morgan of St. Peters MO; a son, Adam J. (Denise) Rawls and grandson, Mason Rawls, of Norfolk, Virginia; a daughter, Erin J. Rawls of Richmond, VA; a brother, James (Jimmy) Silberman of Johnson City, NY; a sister, Wendy Silberman of Boca Raton, FL; and a cousin, Alan Lowenthal of Detroit, MI. She will be missed immensely by close friends Kevin and Mary Enger.
Ms. Rawls graduated from Griswold Institute in Cleveland, OH, as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), and a Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technologist. She was a Registered MLT and a Medical Assistant Instructor for more than 35 years. She held certifications from American Medical Technologists (AMT) and Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) associations.
A graduate of the College of Divine Metaphysics, Ms. Rawls became Dr. Rawls when she earned a Doctorate in Metaphysics. She was an ordained minister.
On a personal level, Gaylinn loved traveling and seeing new places with Connie. But their favorite place on earth was Sedona, AZ, where they enjoyed hiking, learning about history and cultures, and meeting new people. Gaylinn was a supporter of St. Joseph’s Indian School in Chamberlain, South Dakota.

Gaylinn loved animals, especially dogs and cats, and supported local animal shelters. She enjoyed photography and was a gifted artist.
Gaylinn’s family and friends want to thank the staff at Clarendale of St. Peters, Phoenix Hospice Care and Assistance Home Health for the compassion and concern they showed throughout her illness. She made many friends along the way who lightened her journey through their dedication and kindness.
Per her wishes, Gaylinn will be cremated, and her ashes scattered in Sedona.
