Francis “Frank” P. Mols, director of the Vernon and Doris Bishop Library at Lebanon Valley College since 2007, died on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at the age of 64. He spent more than 40 years serving college and university libraries in Michigan, Virginia, New York, and Pennsylvania.



“Frank was the exemplar of everything that Lebanon Valley College believes in,” said Dr. Lewis E. Thayne, LVC president. “He was energetic, enthusiastic, positive, and someone who truly cared about all of his students and co-workers. Frank was a shining light who brought smiles to everyone he encountered.”

Age 69, of White Oak, died Saturday, July 27, 2019. He was born in McKeesport on December 6, 1949 and is the son of the late James Edward and Zona McCarthy Moonis. Edward served during the Vietnam Era in the Marines. Until his retirement, he was a firefighter for the County of Allegheny which included working at Greater Pittsburgh Airport and Allegheny County Airport. His hobbies included turning some wrenches and making some sawdust. Bruce Moore, 74, born December 5, 1949, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2023 in Tucson, Arizona after a lengthy illness. A native of White Oak, PA, Moore was the fourth child of Chester and Alice Moore.

Moore graduated from McKeesport Senior High School in McKeesport, PA and Milligan University in Johnson City, TN. He raised his two children in Thousand Oaks, CA with his former wife Linda Moore while working for United Parcel Service (UPS).
